Standing Stones on Yar Tor

Prehistoric standing stones on Yar Tor, near Dartmeet. The photograph was taken during December 1887. The two upright stones shown in the photograph had been lying on the ground but were assumed to be fallen standing stones and were set upright during the autumn of 1887 by a Mr Rose of Badger's Holt as a memorial for the Golden Jubilee of Queen Victoria.
